Maureen C. Proctor

Maureen C. Proctor graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida in 1985. While at Stetson Law School, Maureen was a Dana Scholar and a member of the Stetson Law Review.
Her undergraduate majors included both Finance and Marketing. She graduated cum laude from Stetson College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1988.
She has represented and helped disabled individuals obtain workers’ compensation benefits for over 25 years and is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as having special knowledge in the area of Workers’ Compensation since 1998. She has been licensed to practice law in the State of Florida for 29 years. She has also represented disabled individuals in their attempt to obtain Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income benefits before the Social Security Administration for over 25 years.
She is a member of the United States Districts Court for the Northern and Middle District of Florida. She is on the Board of Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida and enjoys helping people through that organization’s various charity efforts, such as Christmas Connection.
James A. Kole

James A. Kole graduated cum laude in three years with three majors in Political Science, History and Diplomacy & Foreign Affairs from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1990.
He graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, Tennessee 1993. He has been licensed to practice law in the state of Florida for over 25 years.
He has represented disabled individuals in their attempts to obtain Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income benefits before the Social Security Administration since 1994 and is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives.
He has also practiced workers' compensation law since 1993; first representing employers and insurance carriers, but exclusively representing injured workers since 1994. Since 1994, he has also represented disabled individuals attempting to obtain Regular Disability Retirement and In-Line-of-Duty Disability Retirement benefits from the State of Florida, Division of Retirement.
He is a member of the United States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida and has practiced federal wage and hour law since 2003. He has also volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem, advocating for abused and neglected children in the Florida court system, since 2004.
In his free time, he is Haley, Siena and Jack's dad, chasing and driving them around and occasionally living vicariously through them.
