What Qualifies As A Wage & Hour Case?
If any of the following happened to you, your employer may have committed a federal wage and hour violation and you may be entitled to past wages and punitive damages:
- You were paid less than the minimum wage.
- You worked more than 40 hours in a week and did not get paid overtime or time and a half.
- You were forced to work before clocking in or after clocking out.
- You were not paid for required training, travel, prep work or cleaning up.
- You were required to work through scheduled breaks or perform any work duties during your lunch breaks.
- You were denied your vacation or sick leave.
How Do Wage & Hour Attorneys Get Paid?
Fortunately, the federal law governing wage and hour violations provides that the employer has to pay the employee's lawyer's fees when a violation is found to have occurred.
